THE SITTING DUCK DILEMMA -
AN INVITATION TO MUSICIANS

(ClimateKeys April 2025)

There were three ducks swimming near a riverbank. I watched them paddling about together near the bank before the current overcame them, taking them up the river at great speed. There's a parallel here that's obvious but Iet's discuss; do we want to be swept along to an uncontrolled destination like those ducks? Or do we want to reclaim the economics of today taking civilisation on a trajectory towards ever more dangerous climate impacts?

YOUR WORK, ALL OUR LIVES -
AN INVITATION TO REGENERATIVE ECONOMISTS

(ClimateKeys April 2025)

What if scores of cultural audiences could experience not just the music they love, but also your ideas? What if such events served to bolster comprehension of modern economics and help bring about their positive change? ClimateKeys is developing ways to augment the presence of regenerative economic theory in real world spaces. We want to form more collaborations with experts to deliver talks and information to music audiences.

AN INVITATION TO MUSIC PROGRAMMERS

(ClimateKeys April 2025)

Bachtrack, the most prolific global database of classical music performance, listed 30,774 concert, opera and dance performances, in 48 countries across the world in 2024.

"A huge 89% majority of the world’s people want stronger action to fight the climate crisis but feel they are trapped in a self-fulfilling “spiral of silence” because they mistakenly believe they are in a minority ... The data comes from a global survey that interviewed 130,000 people across 125 countries and found 89% thought their national government “should do more to fight global warming”. (The Guardian 22 April 2025)

ClimateKeys believes that music programmers can use their unique position as hosts to millions of people across the world to break that spiral of silence and help humanity to unite around urgent change.
